Buildings and contents insurance
It does exactly what the name suggests, by protecting the bricks and mortar of your home along with the contents inside.
There are three main policies: buildings insurance, contents insurance and a combined buildings and contents cover.
Combined buildings and contents insurance is only suitable for people who own the freehold of their homes. If you rent or own the lease only, buildings cover should be handled by your freeholder or managing agent. This means contents insurance is your responsibility and should be considered by everyone.
If you’re a landlord, you’ll know that it can be an expensive business, so it’s important to have the right protection in place should anything go wrong.
At The Right Advice, we’ll make sure you have exactly the right policy in place for your properties, so you can relax knowing you’re covered.
